So since I got purple hair in Taiwan, I wanted to have a way to maintain that purple hair on my own when I came back to America. Since colored hair fades really fast the product I was gonna use needed to be cheap and easy to diy.

Naturally, I went to Sally’s Beauty Supply store and picked up Manic Panic. I had a hard time choosing between purple haze and ultra violet (bluer), but in the end I went with purple haze since it fades into this pinkish purple.

Color: The color purple haze is a pink toned purple. You can adjust the color to more pastel or darker depending on how much conditioner you add to the mix.

I wanted a darker purple so I added a lot the dye into my conditioner mix.

super saturated

Application: Since I was dying a large amount of hair I just used my gloved hands and really saturated the ends of my hair. Then with a detail dying brush I feathered the color into the connecting parts of my blonde and purple hair.

Tip: Lay towels EVERYWHERE, cause the dye stains everything. Also toothpaste works pretty well in removing some stains.

Packaging: It’s a plastic tub that’s see through so you can see how much product you have left and the exact color of it.

Final thoughts:

I would definitely recommend buying the manic panic hair dyes, but make sure to really research the products and colors that you want to use. Once it’s in your hair, it’s kind of

hard to get out.

Fun Fact:

Tiffany is on two store entrances

So if you're ever in taiwan HOLLA AT MEEEEEEE
