Ok so Krystal from F(x) was basically the poster girl for these Etude House Color in Liquid Lips, which naturally would mean that this product is AMAZING, Right? I mean it’s Krystal, one of the most gorgeous Kpop girls that I have ever seen. Boy was I so, so, so very wrong.

Etude House, claimed that these liquid lips were -

- Lovely splashing color: Vivid colors like melted liquefied lipsticks make delicate and supple lips.

(Exclusive "One-Touch-Color" technology is applied to express vivid color with one touch)

- See-though glossy lips: Smooth water-sliding texture cares lips lightweight, glossy, and non sticky.

(Water-Sliding: Light and non-sticky texture for cushiony and sleek application)

- Long-lasting hydrated lips: It contains Sweet almond oil and sunflower seed oil to coat lips comfortably and smoothly long time without getting dry.

Which upon first application I was like WOW so nice and glossy, but after literally 20 minutes I was having second thoughts about this lip product.

The colors were nice and there was a decent sized collection and upon swatching they seem pretty pigmented, but after wearing the lipstick on my actual lips I felt like the product started going EVERYWHERE. Like it would smear and transfer super easily and disappear while leaving behind this stain that was slightly patchy (especially when I had dry lips)

I give it a ✿✿✿❀❀

color: The color I have is PK005 which is a barbie doll pink kind of color.

pretty but super oily

Pigmentation: The product is pigmented at first swatch, and true to color, but it disappears super fast and leaves behind gross patchy spots

cool, magical applicator

Texture: Glossy, oily lipstick that is no-where near creamy and feels like melted lip balm, so in a way was hydrating… for like the 5 minutes it was on my lips :(

Application: The interestingly shaped applicator on the wand is actually what I love most about this product. It has a keyhole center that makes me really happy because it grabs enough product for your whole lip.

Tip: Apply this product on top of a similar lip color that you want to add some shine and pink tone to.

Packaging: Clear acrylic tube that has a cute lipstick bullet shaped resevoir for the actual product. The lid is super cute with hearts and lips all over it. In reality Etude House has some of the cutest packaging which was what really sucked me into buying the product. But I wish the quality of the liquid lipstick was as good as the effort they put into the packaging

Final thoughts: Is this product worth buying? Not really… if they had advertised these lipsticks as opaque lip glosses then they would have been amazing. BUT they are not supposed to be lip glosses they are supposed to be liquid lipsticks, so I would advise people to beware and make sure they know what they are paying for before they just fall into the trap of buying a product for packaging. -Basically what always ends up happening to me :(

It looks meh on me :I
