SO PRETTY AND CUTE

While I was in Taiwan I often saw the Korean road shop brand innisfree and I truly love this brand. These liquid shadows caught my eye one day while I was shopping and when I swatched them I instantly fell in love. The price tag is about $14-ish which is kinda high for one color, but each of the colors in the Limited Edition Collection were truly unique. There were if I remember correctly five shades that all were inspired by the Ocean and each shade I swatched made me fall more and more in love with the collection. Super cute packaging combined with awesome product = a win for TIFFANY :D

I give it a ✿✿✿✿❀

Colors: I own shades one and three.

1- is a beautiful white gold with a hint of peach shimmer

3- is a turquoise dark greenish, blue that almost seems to shift through several shades of ocean floor with a twitch of movement

swatchies :D

Pigmentation: These liquid shadows are so super pigmented, one swatch literally looks like you took your hand and dipped it in some molten metal. All the shades were metallic/shimmery and every swatch was smooth and completely opaque. The product is true to the color you see in the tube and will not change its color even as the day goes on.

Texture: The product is a liquid at first and then it dries into a powdery finish. The one con I have against the eyeshadows is that because it starts out as a liquid you really have to blend as fast as possible in order to make sure that when it dries your eyes don’t look funny. Also since it is a liquid I feel like it’s best to use your fingers to blend instead of a brush since the brush just seems to pull off product. Sadly, the product is so pigmented that it transfers super easily when touched so it’s best to set the shadow with a similar shaded powder shadow too.

flat doe foot

Application: The packaging includes a doe foot applicator which I use to just swipe a small amount onto my eyelids. A little goes a LONG way with this product.

blended with finger

Tip: Use the warmth of your fingers to blend instead of a brush since the product starts off as a liquid and needs to be quickly blended

Packaging: Adorable divers are put all over the screw on lip of these shadows, and the clear tube allows you to see directly into the product and helps to determine how much you have left and the exact color that you are using. The doe foot applicator is slightly flatter than the usual ones you see which makes it a lot nicer to use against your eyelids.

Final thoughts: Is it worth buying? DEFINITELY, if you can get your hands on these liquid shadows you should definitely splurge on all the colors you want. They are pigmented, shimmery, and beautifully formulated. A must have in my opinion.

Afterthought: This may be a pro or con depending on the type of person you are, but these shadows are 100% NOT waterproof. With a splash of water they a completely gone, which makes taking them off a breeze, but may be a little annoying with sweat and rain.
